Where`* the fuel filter?
Just wondering where the fuel filter is on my 98? (searching the site failed me)
And how hard on the car is it to change?
I just changed the one on my Mustang today, and I needed a special tool, are any special tools necessary on our cars?
Thanks!

I believe it'* on the passenger side rear of the car. You don't need any special tools. I would recommend spraying the nut down with some sort of penetrating lube for a few days to make removal easiest.

Ok, sounds like the exact same location as my stang, I`ll lift it up tomorrow and lube it, and get a filter next week sometime.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I agree with spraying it with a corrosion dissolver for a few days before trying to break it free. Be sure you have the right two wrenches to keep from twisting the fuel line while breaking corrosion free. Relive gas pressure somehow first at valve on motor or let car sit where you're going to work on it for most of day. That gas spray is evil.
