My check engine light has been on for a little while, and I just recently got it checked at Autozone. one code was 108 high MAP sensor voltage and I can't remember the other, but it was a MAP sensor code. The light came on like 10 minutes after I replaced my PCV valve. Any ideas what would cause this...could the sensor be bad? Any help is appreciated.

Are you sure you put both o-rings where they belong when you replaced the PCV valve?

This is the only link I can find showing where and how to change a L36 PCV valve. In the picture it shows leaving the orange o-ring in the hole when replacing the plastic top.
It is best to slide the orange o-ring up on the color of the plastic top instead of leaving it in the hole.

O-rings would be my best guess too. Classic case of it. With the car idling, open your oil fill cap. What do you notice?

OK, so I should check those rubber gaskets...and Will what do you mean what do I notice? What do I notice with what exactly?

You have a black o-ring that goes around the PCV valve and seals it in its bore. This o-ring can stay in the bore when the valve is removed and is hard to see, black on black. Without this o-ring you will have vacuum in the motor at idle. Remove the oil filler cap crank the car and put your hand over the hole. If your hand is held to the valve cover the “black” PCV valve o-ring is missing or needs replacing.
When the o-ring is in place around the PCV valve it fits tightly in its bore. If you can remove or install your PCV valve easily with your fingers the o-ring is missing or needs replacing.

Well I checked the valve and the little black o-ring is not there. I am going to get the kit because as far as I can tell I have no spring either. So I will do that and see what happens from there.
