Question New problems

With me being changed and all (https://www.gmforum.com/lounge-99/im-back-286814/) my Bonneville has decided to change as well.

Weeks ago, my cruise control just stopped working. A week later my ventilation system stopped, it produces heat, but just barely flows out of the vents. I'm wondering if there'* a problem with the wiring?

Cruise won't start at all, it just plain quit on me. As I stated before the vents produce heat (not the vents), but it doesn't blow out.

When the vents first stopped working, I slammed my hand against the dashboard and it started again , but a couple days later it stopped once again. So now it'* winter, I can barely defrost and I freeze on my way to work. Any ideas?

Check the brake switch first. It'* on the brake peddle under the dash. You will see 2 switches, the brake switch is the bottom one. This should help. https://www.gmforum.com/electrical-133/tcc-solenoid-switch-284972/

The fan, now that sounds like a short or ground problem. That your going to have to track down. It'* a pain, but there'* really no other way to tell you.

Thanks I'll give it a shot, the locating the brake switch seems rather complicated, but we'll see what I can come up with, thanks for the help!

Mine stopped working a while back, couldn't find the problem. I pulled the plug at the fan motor and cleaned it up real good. Been working ever sense.

Well it was the blower to the heater, but so far it seemed to have stopped causing problems for me... The defrost in the back will work (of course), but yesterday morning you could feel the warm air coming out of the vent, it just wasn't blowing, it was flowing out... think fog flow? When I started my car yesterday night (after work) it started up HARD, because of the cold 14 degree weather, but then I did a double take, because the vents were working again.. I don't know...
