WHY???? Any person that gives you instructions to disable this feature, can be liable if you get in an accident for not wearing your seat belt.

i always use my seat belt just that i have to wait for the light to turn off when i start the car even when i have my seat belt on already. it take like 8-10sec befor i can drive. witch is bad if the car is aleady warm and i need to move quick.

Also if im working on my car in my driveway i need to put on my seatbelt befor i can move it 1 foot if need be.

were you pressing the brake when you were trying to shift out of park? becuase thats the only thing you have to do to take it out of park.

I agree with shortstuff... probably put your foot on the brake cause you only needed to move it a little bit. Supposed to keep kids left in cars from shifting the car while waiting for ma or pa!
