new guy! messed up a pulley
if you know any info about the pulley under the alternator i think its the tensioner but i really dont know much about cars, because i was trying to put the belt on but i think i oversprung a spring or something, all i do know is i screwed sumthin up

sorry im new at this whole thing. Its a 96 ssei 130,000 miles the problem is i need to know if the tensioner pulley if oversprung can be resprung or just needs replacing.

The tensioner and pulley are actually two seperate pieces. The pulley is a reverse threaded bolt.
If the tensioner is no longer working properly, you should replace it. To my knowledge they are not a repairable part.

Paint? $2000 is normal for a decent job that looks factory
