Default Need help selecting parts for my exhaust

OK, my current catalytic converter has bit the dust. From what i can tell it is splitting at the seams along the sides. At first I thought it was the rice pipe making the car louder, but when i opened the door and gave it some gas i saw dust blow out from under the car. My self proclaimed mechanic cat took a glance to confirm it for me......

He'* sooo darn funny i don't have the heart to tell him he'* looking at the bed. And it'* just too darn cute when he puts on white gloves to work on a BMW.
So while i was a boosty'* house bandit and myself crawled under the car and verified the cat has a major leak.

And in the few days since then, it has gone from annoying to wholly cow. It is just flat out loud. between 2200-2800RPM it'* just horrible.
So i was hoping to get some info and part numbers for the cat and possibly a resonator. The muffler will come later, when i need/want it.
My concerns are below from most important to least.

1. NOISE- i don't want to hear anything. and if i do hear anything i want it to be a very low tone.
2. Performance- Stock or better is preferred but not necessary.
3.Price- I don't mind spending money on this but i prefer it to not be too much (200$ or less. I have a friend that i will ask to have weld for me.)

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks guys

Start out on Ebay for the catalytic. Usually the universal Magnaflows are about $50 shipped and these people ship quick. Is your res bad as well?

I don't know if this thing has a res or not. I'll take a picture now of the exaust system.
*grabs camera, goes outside, bends down and hears bones creak and pop. lays down. Takes pictures. Struggles to get back up. Hears more creaks and pops.*
Ok i have the pictures. *Gasp-wheeeze*They aren't great, but they'll do. Hard to hold steady on the floor while one-handing the camera.

The hanger for the exhaust has rusted through and needs to be replaced. Anyone
have a part number for that? Or is there a better alternative?

i'm going to assume this is the resonator. I didn't know it had one till i photographed it.

And while I'm at it. the exhaust spouts (what the dealership called them.) have....
"disappeared". Anyone know where i can find new ones?
and does the cat have any specific part #. i did a quick search on pirate bay and found a few off the bat 2 numbers. I was wondering are either of these made to be Hi-flow?
this one is a 91006-It has the bonnie listed but says nothing about if it will work on a SC'd car.

this one is a 94106
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...e=STRK:MESE:IT
says it'* 2.5' which i believe i have. I'll measure later to confirm. but doesn't mention Supercharged.
This one is a whole unit.

It says it'* not for the *cough* Turbo version so this won't work. But if i do find one, is there any reason to choose this over just a cat? Is there any reason for me to worry about that down pipe?

Thanks again guys.

Outstanding. 94106 it is. The cat is on it'* way. Should be about 4 buisness days. Now about that res.
Is there a test to see if the res is bad? And can i put on an ultra quiet one if it is, without losing performance or fouling the exaust any other way?

I'll check back on this when i wake up.
Next time i see ya your getting a hug boosty! :P

Thanks guys.

Dunno..there'* not even a name on it. I'd steer clear.

Robin.. (you coming to the Robin this w/e?)... The resonator is basically an open tube with packing on the sides.
