Where is the ETCMB located, how can I identify it and how can I clean the connections. My traction control is having some problems and I think that may be a good thing to check. Thanks 94' SE

If you have TC on an SE, you likely have H4U on your RPO sticker on the spare tire cover. That'* the SLE package (easy to identify if you have a honeycomb grille).

My 93 EBCM is located on the firewall in the passenger compartment to the right of the gas pedal under the carpet (behind the center stereo). My 95 EBCM is located under the hood next to the master cylinder. Yours will be in one of those two places, as I'm not sure what year it changed, either 94 or 95.

I'll tell you that I've seen only ONE of these computers fail in my 3 years on this forum. If it fails, it'll also take out ABS.

If ABS works and traction control doesn't, you likely culprits are either the pump attached to the PMV or a valve inside the PMV itself (most likely).

As an FYI, it changed in the 94. My 94 SE had it located below the master cylinder as well.
