New to the site, what a great forum !! I wish I had found this before now, would have saved a lot of headaches. I have fixed most of the problems with the Bonnie ( 95 SE )but now the sunroof is giving me grief. I've read most of the posts I can find about sunroof leaks and from what I gathered you should be able to see the rear drain ports with the sunroof in the vent position.Is this true or did I miss interpret something? I cannot see the rear ports with it in vent or full retract position, seem to be too far back. Thanks.

Click on "Quick Links" above, go down to "User Control Panel" and then click on "Edit your Signature" It'* pretty straight forward from there.

You should be able to see rear drain holes with the sunroof in the vent position. They are in the tray, inside the opening cut into the roof sheet metal. They are not tucked in under the sheet metal. They are right in the corners. Let me know if you can't find them, and I will take a picture of mine when I get home tonight.

Thanks, Roy, I'll give it another look tonight. The fronts holes were easily spotted but the rears evaded me.

Did you pour water in the front drain holes, and did they leak out behind the front wheel liners? Do you have water in the car?

Yes, the RR was blocked, I had some 18 ga. steel wire I ran up from the RR exit tube. It ran water fine after the blockage was cleared. The LR didn't seem to be blocked using the wire which I chased up far enough to reach the sunroof but water didn't exit that side after pouring in about 4 oz. I stopped after that, didn't notice any coming inside car, that'* when I started looking for the drain holes up top. Front two holes ran water good to just aft of both front wheels. The RR is where I have the most headliner damage.

I'm glad you mentioned headliner damage. The issue is one our more of the drain tubes has come off the nipples at the drain holes. You have to drop the headliner and put them back on. When you do, put a small hose clamp or pull tie strap on the connection to help it from coming off again.

Are your carpets wet? If you poured water into the front LH drain and it didn't come out the wheel well, the tube has come apart at a connection behind the dash. Here is a write up on repairing that:

RR carpet was wet after heavy rain, 1st time I've noticed that. I had the RF carpet up last week checking the grounds, was factory new there and dry. Thanks guys,will check board tomorrow if any more replies,have a busy evening ahead of me.
