When you make another, stay above the belt like this vid starts out. And look at each pulley on that belt with the camera. When I saw the vid I was pretty sure I saw a twitching happening off to the right. I'd want more tape of that area and off to the left as well.

If you look at the thread I posted above, mine was doing that, too, but didn't seem to be causing the belt shred since the stock pulley wouldn't shred it, and the idler would still "click" like that.

If you loosen the belt, and put a screwdriver between the pulley and the nosecone housing and twist the screwdriver carefully (to pull the pulley away from the housing) does the shaft move out at all?

Feel the underside of the crank pulley. The belts should be ~1/8 inch or so apart.
