They think it is the battery not putting out the proper voltage. He claims that this confuses the computer and it doesn't know what to do messing the whole car up. How the hell can the battery cause so much fuss. Well, they are going to put it in and see what happens, if it doesn't fix the problem then i'll just get a new computer. The computer it has in it now was used and acted strange since it was put in.

Wow, and i though my car pulled some strang crap on me!
Gotta be computerized, if it was mechanical i doubt it would just disappear for a mile then come back.

Well, it was the computer. WOW, am I releived. Will still be expensive, I am having a wheel baring replaced as well for a grand total of $571.80. This is way better than $2400 for a new trans. BTW, thanks for the help and good advice!
