I want to know what the heck is up with the cars getting 40 mph on the highway. What, did you tape up the grille, pump the tires to 45 psi, and drive at 50 mph for 300 miles, or what? That'* just crazy good.

Unless I missed it somewhere, are we assuming everyone is using regular grade gasoline? I always put in the premium, and STILL only get around 18MPG. :(

1994 SSEi no mods. 97K miles. Just had tuneup also which didn't improve MPG any. Kinda sucks to have such bad MPG using premium.

just tested highway MPG yesterday...i got 34.7 MPG/highway!! that is using 85 octane, 250 mile trip with an average speed of 75mph. again, this car is completely stock. i haven't even checked or changed the spark plugs yet! i am IMPRESSED!
