Transplants have been done. Turtle has a 92, but he'* got a Series 2 motor and trans in it (from a 95)....then he added a big-*** turbo.

Get the whole drivetrain, but if you're gonna do it, you might as well do a Series 2 L67. Get the engine, trans, PCM, and wiring harness.

Okie Dokie .. The motor/trans mounts going to be the same or will I have to modify them.. The car I am looking at is a 95 ssei but its only 1/2 there someone bought the rear half of the car it made me sick to look at :( . It was totaled because of water damage and only has 58k on the engine/trans so that would be a +. This shouldnt be a very hard transplant because they are essentially the same parts correct...?
