moonroof grinding problems
I saw a post similar to this, but it was 3 years old with no followups, so I'll see if anyone can help now.
my moonroof is grinding when it gets to the full open position, like a gear is stripped and it seems like it wants to keep going back into the car. also when i close it, it'* supposed to stop at the closed position, but it goes past that, to the up position. so it seems like it'* misaligned like it'* starting and stopping in strange places. does anyone know what I can do to fix this... is there a procedure someone can write up to take the moonroof off and take a look at it without f... anything up? I'm trying to sell the car really soon so I want the moonroof to be working then, and I have little to no money to pay to fix this issue. thanks in advance.
