Moon roof help
HELP!! i just got my bonneville ready to go on the road and when i was test driving it up and down the road the moonroof started lifing up in the back like it was going to fly out... I knew it was broken but i guess i freed it up when i washed the car. Now i need to know how to take out the moonroof, and headliner and how hard it is to swap the motor and fix the arms that appear broken. the controls also appear to be aftermarket to me, maybe the whole thing is but it doesnt look it. So anyone who can tell me how to take out the headliner, how hard it is, and about the motor would be a great help. Im and ok mechanic so i can probably figure the electronics out myself, i have the chiltons with the wiring diagram, but i have no idea about removing the headliner and dont want to tackle it without some help, anything would be great, thanks guys.

I've got an aftermarket roof like the one you described...looks stock but isn't. If yours is built like mine, you won't get much more access to the rear of the sunroof by taking out the headliner:
However here are some instructions i made up for removing the headliner if you think that will help.

Once you get the headliner out, replacing the motor isn't bad at all. I only dropped the headliner down about a foot in the front to remove my motor. (once again assuming yours is like mine) Can you try to describe in a little more detail what is wrong with it?
