Where is the "chime" / "dinger"?
OK, the check gauges lamp blinking along with the constant "chiming" is driving me crazy. I want to find the dinger and unplug it. (Gauges are fine, been doing this for 3 months). Anyone know where that dinger is?

Dinger location!
IIRC it'* on the side panel above the passenger'* right foot. I believe there'* a location list on the hush panel when you drop it under the dash, so that'd be an easy, quick check.

PPrash, your year and model in your signature would be a big help.
And it might not be a bad idea to go through some more basic troubleshooting with a gearhead or two.

Sorry, it is a 94 Bonneville. I have had it scanned. Shows no DTC'*. You can drive it daily for a week and not have it flash/ chime and for no reason it starts doing it time after time when driven.

I'm probably wrong, but...
Even though someone said it is under the passenger'* hush panel, I'm thinking it is under the driver'* side. It was driving me batty when I was working on the drivers side fuse block.
