Voltage drops when turning abrubtly
Battery is new and connections are clean at the terminals. Normal reading of guage is around 14volts. No voltage sag when system is taxed with lights, blower etc. Problem occurs when driving in city and I make a sharp turn into a parking lot etc. Belt is not slipping and battery normally lasts 7yrs in this car. The voltage guage drops to around 8 volts and then climbs back up. Could be a bad ground connection. Where should I look first??
Thanks.
Thanks.

How do I correct this. Is the belt tensioner at fault. The belt itself is quite new. PS pump was replaced at 60k. At 95k now.

Try the lucas power steering fluid treatment. I've heard good stuff about it. Drain the old fluid out with a turkey baster or something of the like first. That'd be a good start IMO.
Also, make sure you're periodically checking to make sure everything that has a grease zert is not leaking, and has been greased at some point in its life lol.
