Wobbling supercharger hesitation
I've took it upon myself to search for any posts regarding supercharger hesitation.... Saturday I was traveling on backroad and was behind a BIG old truck ( going 20 below!) so I looked around the truck and could see a car a safe distance awayfor passing.. I decided to punch it around 40 - 44mph to see how responsive she is. .......... Well I didn't pass due to a * - l - o - w acceleration I then notice how poorley the engine was missing gears. Sunday I took my brother on a short drive to show him the problem. when it gets to about 45 - 50 mph I punched it...The supercharger whine creates a wobbling sound and you can feel it while accelerating intermentinly you can feel what the boost should be like.
Anyways We are stumped here and if anyone has any thoughts or have had this problem let me know what to look for/ do.

In my experience, this has been a fueling problem. My pump got weak during high demand, went lean, PCM saw detonation, BCS makes SC flutter as it dumps lotsa boost. Can you get a fuel pressure gauge with a LONG hose on it so you can watch the pressure as you drive?

Get one at NAPA or Autozone, or similar.

Look over the belt and pulley as well while you are under the hood for belt slippage.
I've never experienced it, however I hear it sounds like a flutter.

My dad is out of town for the moment. But I've looked over all of the belts and pulleys and have seen no slippage. Just replaced fuel filter and still no change. The wobbling supercharger usually happens when the pedal is put down more than half way. Not quite sure if burnouts would have anything to do with this..... I tried to see if I could get anything the night before, (not sure if this helps)

I have the same issue with my */C and I have a new pump on order. I am hoping this resolves the issue. I'll let you know when I get it installed.
