Adding air shocks in the rear?
I'm thinking about adding air shocks in the rear of my car, running a air line kit, and manually adjusting air pressure. Has anyone done this?
Thanks.
Thanks.

ive never looked at a se rear, but if you look at yours, and go to the yard and find a sse and see what you need to convert it. i would get new shocks for a sse, as the yard ones would be beat. and the ak29 gives you manual fill, for about 10-20 bucks

Since you are not installing auto levelling, I don't think you have to convert anything. I think you can buy a direct fit air shock and run the lines to a Schraeder valve in the trunk.

Have you looked into the air bags that you install inside the coil spring? I have the air shocks that self level on my SSEi and they work fine but, I have seen on Ebay that they make air bags for the rear of Bonnevilles. I have the air bags inside the coil spring on my motorhome and they work great. Really impressive how they improve the handling!

I've done it on a 95 SE..no other conversion needed. I jus ran two separate lines for them...I ran my vavles over the license plates for easier acess when needed...you'll be fine...
