tps broke again, 4th time this year!
The throttle position sensor has gone bad again on my 93, this will be the 4th time that i will have to replace it, since the original replacement part was purchased at Autozone, it has a one year warranty, so all these times it hasnt cost anything.
This time im thinking of buying a replacement part at napa whatever more expensive it may be.
Anyone have any thoughts or opinions? This problem is starting to annoy me :?

Get an AC Delco unit..
AC Delco is very picky about its products... the products must pass and meet the standards of AC Delco or the item will not wear the AC Delco name.. May cost a little more, but chances are you'll get a better quality item... On another note, Wells sucks hard core... At the very least if you don't get the AC Delco part, try the GP sorenson TPS sensor... These cars are very touchy about an unhappy TPS... Even my 95 goes nuts whent he TPS goes bad

Hey Jr, thanks for the reply, looking at gmpartsdirect they're selling it at $48.56 (MSRP $93.38 ), would that be a AC Delco part? They don't specify a manufacturer or part number.
Its too bad the TPS is located right above a hot part of the exhaust. Heat + electronics = :(
Ill return the bad one to autozone get a replacment for free on warranty, throw that guy in until the Delco unit comes. Thanks again.
