I have a 1997 SSE,How do I change the lights under the gear selector in the console??1,2,3 I can just almost see in the dark...[img][/img]

What relay are you talking about?

IIRC these are fiber optical from a signal bulb below.

I'm pretty sure the shifter assembly was revised between 95 and 97. Although that could be the answer.

i think so to... because when i out min in gear the light moves right away... when i drove your car boosty the light delayed a little.. :?

I'm talking about the lights that come on with the lights under the p-r-d-3-2-1,not the dot next to them...it works fine....under the 1,2,3 looks burned out but i cant find a way there....

Ohhhhhh

Should be a bulb or two on the assembly. I think if you lift the front of the console (remove shifter **** and screws under ashtray) there are two little bulbs.
