Default Trim level identification question?

Found a Bonneville lurking at the back row of this little corner car dealer today. Its an early 90'* model, purple, has foglights and leather interior, there are NO trim ID badges on it. Nothing else denotes a year or trim level on it either. I plan to stop back by when they are open and check it out, its kinda rough around the edges including the back wheel cocked out at a funny angle. Hasnt had a current tag in over a year and looks like its been sitting for awhile.

So with the foglights and leather, is it at least an SSE trim?

Is it purple like mine? That'* only offered in 1993. All Bonnevilles 92-current have foglights, whether they were the rental model, or the loaded SSEi'*.

Its a lighter shade of purple than yours, MrsCrzydmnd says its like a dark lilac color. I guess an SE wouldnt be too bad if the price was right. It is kinda neglected though. I am thinking if it starts and runs, its worth about 300 bucks in present shape LOL.

It might have been your color purple at one time, thinking about sun fading.

yeah thats the first thing I thought when I saw it LOL, Hey thats the same as the PurplePearl from BC Body is straight with a few litle dings, wheels match, kind of a 3 spoke turbine design with gold colored accents. Interior looked OK with no major rips. This might warrant dipping into the funny money fund if its cheap enough.

Those sound like SSEi wheels. Are the foglights near the license plate or outer near the corners? I haven't seen a purple pearl SSEi before.

I don't think SSE/i'* didn't ever come in that color, When he said early nineties I thought SE, no purple SSE body styled bonnies weren't made for that matter light blue never seen our body styles either. I guess pontiac offered more colors for the SE, or those two colors didn't look quite right for the SSE body style.

You don't mean EARLY ninties, like your LE, 87-91, do you? If so, leather and fogs might mean SSE.
