I'm in the Denver area of Colorado. I've been checking on Autotrader, and Bonnes with less than 100k miles for a '96 to '98 average somewhere around 4500 or so.

It'* definitely not cheap to fix it at 3K, but I have a newer transmission, alternator, UIM, radiator, etc. If I get a warranty on the engine, the car will be good for a few more years.
