This is what I want to repair before I even think of going for the safety inspection.

1. Supercharger coupler
2. Motor mount
3. Wheel bearing (front driver side)
4. Emergency brake cable
5. Major tune-up
6. Valve cover gasket
7. Transmission fluid leaking from pan
8. Door pins and bushings (driver side)
9. Rear driver side window doesn't work
10. Cruise control doesn't work
11. Check engine light on.
12. Traction control off (light always on)
13. Slight hesitation (recheck after tune-up)
14. Air conditioner doesn't work
15. Pulley below alternator (sounds like bearings)

Wish me luck. Looking forward to your input and advice. I'm trying to get this car on the road by the middle of June.

Easy enough. Get the intake gaskets, coupler and a couple bottles of GM SC oil 1.5 hours
2. Motor mount
Yup..30 minutes
3. Wheel bearing (front driver side)
2 hours
4. Emergency brake cable
Have fun
5. Major tune-up
Do during supercharger coupler project. You'll have to disturb most of it then
6. Valve cover gasket
Do during supercharger coupler project. They are easier to get at with everything missing
7. Transmission fluid leaking from pan
Transmission filter change while you are there. EAsy to do. Called a trans service 1 hour
8. Door pins and bushings (driver side)
Lube for now 5 minutes
9. Rear driver side window doesn't work
Check driver switch and that door switch. Probably a switch..at worst a motor..1 hour
10. Cruise control doesn't work
Check vacuum line going to module located on top of transmission.
11. Check engine light on.
Take your choice of the above problems causing it. Need to scan to be sure though.
12. Traction control off (light always on)
Remember that wheel bearing..that'* 99% sure the cause
13. Slight hesitation (recheck after tune-up)
Yup..tune up
14. Air conditioner doesn't work
Check relays in maxifuse center..and BTW..it won't come on in cold weather except maybe defrost.
15. Pulley below alternator (sounds like bearings)
That'* a tensioner pulley.. Cheap and easy..check manual for reverse or normal threads.

Frank...June is easy..with 2 decent days this could all be done.

BillBoost37 I hope you take this in the kind way that I meant it. If you were on flat rate.....you'd be a millionaire. Now, if it were me........let'* multiply your time by hmmmmm 5.

Now as for your comment, thanks and I'll start diagnosing as per your suggestions. In the mean time, I'm going to make up a parts list, and start doing a major clean up including power washing the engine. Please keep the comments coming

Don't power wash..if your gaskets and seals are old, you can force water in by mistake with a power washer. Some good engine degreaser and a hose will work just as well in most cases.

My time is actually slow compared with real mechanics. I tried to base those times off realistic times.

Something you should get is the real factory service manual for your car. Helm is a good one. Chilton and Haynes aren't really your friend when you need real information.

What is your plan? Do you figure on banging the major stuff out on a weekend or longer term than that?

Are you researching these fixes here? Because every one of these items has been covered pretty extensively, usually with pics and reading up on them can get you the confidence and info you need to get it done right the first time.

If you are planning on taking it slower, then decide which items you're going to do first and focus on those. It'* less intimidating.

Oh, and I second the FSM (Factory Service Manual) recommendation if you can swing it.

He doesn't need good luck, just a good plan of attack and some help from his friends (or us, if all else fails :P ).

Almost any repair is possible by any member here. The right information, instruction, manual, tools and a little confidence go a long way.

Remember, a car is merely many systems built upon one another. Each system is a bunch of parts held together by nuts, bolts and washers.

it'* really that simple. Just don't think of your car that way when you are at freeway speeds.

This is my plan of attack:

1. Make up a list of items that need to be purchased
2. Find the best possible pricing and or look for the odd item on list that goes on sale.
3. Do a search and print out all items such as re & re SC coupler, How to change front wheel bearing etc. which I need direction on how to do, and print out for when the parts come in.
4. Repairs I can't find or need further direction, seek out help from fellow and loyal BC members.
5. Clean interior out this weekend and go over car one more time and add items to list if necessary.

Conclusion:
Once all items on list are complete, get safety and emissions test done and repair what is need in order to pass. Once complete, get plates insurance then take 90 SSE off road then cry for a day or three. Remove parts I can save for 90 SSE, and then decide what to do with remainder of my loyal and trustworthy Bonne that I have relied on for 15 years.............Cry again!

That'a * good plan..on the 90...you'll have nearly a whole car minus tires.
