Stabilizer Bar Bushings
I have determined that I have destroyed my bushing. I am going to replace it, but I need to know if I have the 28, 30, or 32 mm size. I just dont want to be off as it is a small difference. Can we know the size by knowing it is a 1997 SE?
Thanks
Also, I found it to be $6.54 at www.trademotion.com, are they decent?

you have a SE... most likely FE1, witch the Front Sway bar is 30mm
but for some strange reason, just check your RPOs to make sure you see a FE1 not a FE2
i got mine at Advance auto for around $6 each

WHICH bushing? There isn't just one. There are two sets of endlinks to the control arms, and a PAIR of centerlinks to the subframe. I was also under the impression that the FE1 swaybar was 28mm, not 30.

I am just going to measure it.
Here is an image of what is needed. I am looking on websites such as advance and autozone and they do not have the entire set of pieces.
I am just confused on what I am exactly getting if I order this from a website? (number 11 in picture) (Number 11 set is what separates when I bounce the car)

That bushing shouldn't seperate under a bounce. It loads and unloads in turns. That'* it'* sole purpose. Are the bolts both installed? How do you know it'* moving when you're driving?

If you need the end links? Then Yes, Walk into Advance autoparts and Ask for the Heavy Duty Sway bar end links. They do Have it, trust me, i got them there for mine it will be like 6-$10

My friend is a mechanic for ford and diagnosed it for me. Pretty much you bounce the car up and down and it separates. It makes a bad thud noise while going over bumps and while driving with slight turns. Maybe the connecting rod within the stabilizer bushing broke?
theoretically, it could have have happened at a high rate of speed and the front right tire being completely decompressed shock wise very quickly, theoretically.

Anyone notice in that diagram that both the endlink and the sway bushing are separately labelled "11"?
Gotta assume from the OP'* description it'* the endlink...but I think further clarification/confirmation is needed.
