It'* been discussed here beforew, and it'* normal. Apparntly, GM uses alternators that just cover the needs of the car....

Well, if it is night, with the blower running, headlights on, wipers going that is a TON of draw to put on an electrical system and I have seen cars from all makes do it. HOWEVER, I have seen this problem at its worst when cheap reman alternators are used. If you want a stock replacement I would recemond an AC Delco rated at the highest for your car.

i have a 140 amp AC Delco and i can run at night with the heat on High, headlights on, 15 interior neons, one underbody kit, grille neons, angle eye fogs, and the radio blasting, and the battery gague is about 12.5. On a normal day without all that crap on the battery gague is only like 13, but reads 14.1-14.2 coming off of the battery

Ya i probably need a better alternator Because I have a pretty hard stereo, but beside that I can probably get on for awhile couple months. But I am not sure what size it is how do you check just wondering it looks like it might have been changed awhile ago but i am not sure just got the car last year so. And how much would a 140 amp AC Delco alternator cost.
