Default Plastic coolant fitting!

How do you remove the threaded part of the plastic coolant fitting that goes from the waterpump to the intake. I tried replacing that hose because it has a hole in it and when I went to pull it off one half came off and the threaded half stayed on of course.

Yes, it is threaded. Series I remember.

Most mechanics have something that looks like a large reverse tap, or almost a step drill bit. Lots of guys have had success breaking it up with a screwdriver etc and then pulling the pieces out.

I used a pipe remover. One that removes broken pipe fittings.
