courtesy lights and keyless trunk
Got a problem. #1, when I open my door, none of my lights come on. Door lights, map lights, nothing. #2, my keyless trunk doesn't work. The button on the door doesn't even work. They both died at the same time. I checked the fuses, and none are blown. I don't know what'* wrong with it. Help!?

Fuse 3 in the relay center supports both the interior lamp relay and RAC module in a 93.

I'll try and remember. I checked #3, I checked all of them. None of the fuses are blown. I even made sure all the wires were hooked up right.

[puts on Swami hat to guess at year and trim level again]
You checked Fuse 3 in the passenger'* side fuse box???
Depending on the year, you may have a valet switch for the trunk release.

No, in the drivers side fuse box. And yes, I know the car has to be running and in park for the door button to work, but not the remote. Guess I'll check in the passenger side her 'fore long.

I found that usernames are sometimes a poor way to determine that info. I hate to assume but in this case I guess it'* accurate. Or that could mean a 93 Grand Am SE.
