No Problem (anymore), just a story about the fix
My 96 SE was having a weird issue with stalling.
I would be driving down the road when it would simply shut off. It would not restart.
I would listen closely to the fuel pump prime and it sounded like it was trying to run, but would only make noise for a half second. Also at the same time, the power windows would stop working. Everything else on the car would work, the radio, wipers, horn, door locks, etc., just the windows wouldn't work.
If I waited about 30 minutes, it would start again and run for another few days before stalling again. This went on for a month or so until one day, I could only get it to run for about 10 seconds at a time. I knew it was going to start when I would hear the fuel pump prime like it was supposed to.
I checked fuses, looked for corrosion (which I found under the ignition module and cleaned) or bad wiring. I knew it wasn't fuel pump, but I suspected the computer or ignition module.
I finally gave up and sent it to my local mechanic on the hook one night. Of course the day, it wouldn't do it for him, so he took it home that night and it happened to him. He had to have it towed back to the shop.
After pulling his hair out for several hours, he removed the remote starter that had been installed when the car was new. Lo and behold, everything snapped right back into place and I haven't had a problem since. I didn't even know there was a remote starter installed!!
I posted this in hopes it will help somebody out in the future.

Read this Techinfo article just in case it happens again.

Hopefully your problem was the remote start & won't return but the symptoms match the above problem.

Excellent article!! Thanks for the tip. I didn't even know those connectors existed. Since I live up north, I'm gonna make sure i clean those up before winter.
