I read each of them out with a VOM, and they were all equal. Thinking maybe tomorrow I'll take the time to replace one at a time, and see when and if the problems show up?

Double check your terminal connections from the Ignition Module to EACH Coil Pack....If one was damaged, loose, or broken then this could be the result.!

Default MSD COILS

Please let me know what kind of luck you had with the new ones. Very interested if there seemed to be any "learning curve" with the computer, or if the intended improvement was there from the start?

Thanks

i got some accel coils from jegs and some 8.8 wires and the car goes like snot, that combined with the iridum plugs, for me i had a instant power gain, i think my original coils must have been weak or something, anyhow i am very satisfied, hope you figure out your problem, you will love when it is working properly, probably get better fuel milage. best of luck.

Well, I finally received a package from MSD (ElPaso, Tx.) and it had 2 coils in it, and some paper work stating that items 2 and 3 were tested and found ok. I called their customer service and asked where my third coil was? The guy says "well that one was bad!" then I had to start playing twenty questions with the guy, and the new one is on order and was suppose to be shipped immediately after the other two. What I forgot to ask was, ordered from MSD, or coming from JEG"*. Not happy with any of how they handle their warranty! I have other issues with JEG'* and am thinking of doing my bussiness with SUMMITT!
Crossing my fingers that when ever the third coil shows up and I put them on the problems will be over and done with!

My replacement coil from MSD showed up while on vacation, after putting in the two coils that MSD tested as good and the new one they sent, took it for a test drive. What a difference, the throttle response improved and the idle seems to have smoothened out! I've very pleased, too bad it took over 3 months from when I ordered them!
