ECC issues
ECC worked fine most of the time until i parked it for about 3 months for my engine swap. now it only blows air on the feet and defroster. the cold/hot thing still works, it still blows warm air when i tell it to, but it'll only blow in the two directions. the temp on it blinks all the time, which i know means something is faulty. could anyone help me diagnose what?
also, A/C doesn't work, it'* outta refrigerant..maybe that'* important, maybe it'* not

Re: ECC issues
I had the same problem after changing sparkplugs... It came out to be that vacuum hose was disconected. Look for a loose thin rubber tube. One side connects into vacuum pump another end is conneted to the body by the master cylinder. It'* not screwed or anything. Just push it on...
Hope it helps.

It'* not connected to the body of the master cylinder.
Look for the vacuum accumulator between the maxifuse relay center cover and your windshield wiper motor assembly. It looks like an extension of the maxifuse center, but it'* not. It'* actually a seperate piece. Black box, holds vacuum. There are connections on the bottom side of it.

well i have a vacuum hose off, but it doesn't seem to be the same one you guys are describing. that fat hose that comes off of the thingy near the master cylinder and goes into the back of the UIM is fine, but there is a small hose that connects to that, which is snapped off...the other end of this skinny hose disappears into the wiring harness. either way i am gonna glue it back on and see how it affects things.
i'll also check the vac canister for a loose hose or something
