Default Auto climate control flashing

When I started my car for the first time today, the temp readout on my auto climate control flashed for a couple minutes. Just the temp, not the rest of the display. It did it with AC on, ECON, reading set temp and exterior temp, and totally off reading just exterior temp. What is the deal with that? It only did it for a few minutes, then hasn't done it again.

seems like I read somewhere that it might have something to do with your AC being low on freon, but I'm not 100% sure.

It means you probably have a bad mode door actuator for the hot/cold mode. happened to me a while ago, the part is cheap, labor big bucks.

That means you have a trouble code. Use the procedure in Techinfo to retrieve the trouble code and get back to us with the code.

Got a code 140 and 152
The 152 is just from teh battery being disconnected
Should I worry about the: Driver air mix motor circuit open or shorted, or not calibrated?

You need a mix door actuator. See my prev post.

The air mix door controls the amount of heated air vs. the amount of cool air you get.

Clear the code and see if you get it again.
