installed timing chain and intake manifold
Thanks to everyone for the advice in a few prior posts ....
I have a 95 se with 195k and I replaced the following parts..
lower intake manifold gaskets
new upper intake and gaskets
new timing chain and gears, gaskets and seals
new plugs, air filter, fuel filter
cleaned the throttle body, 180 thermostat
cleaned 5 injectors and replaced one, used new o-rings
oil pan gasket, oil filter, antifreeze, serpentine beltm
di-electric grease on all connectors, plugs, and battery terminals
The car seems to run fine except the idle seems a little fast around 1200 rpm and It seems a bit sluggish (not missing or bucking) when you first jump on it.
Is this due to the adjustment of the throttle positioning sensor or did I mess something up?
How is the idle adjusted on this car?
Is it possible that the timing is off a bit since it has a new belt?
How is the timing set?
How long do rear wheel bearing last? I replaced the fronts last year but never checked the rear ones?
Thanks again for all your advice ....
