PS Pump replacement | NEED HELP ASAP!!!! PLEASE!
Okay, I'm not in the position to be spending $300 on a new power steering pump, especially when this 3800 is good as gone come this summer. Is it possible to just use a plain-jane, non-variable pump in place of this one? If not, is there any other choice I have to getting this pump working? This car HAS to be drivable.

Sure go to a local junkyard with the part number or call and find out. They shouldn't charge that much for a ps pump.
Why are you dumping the car come summer?

If the engine is being swapped make sure you get the correct ps pump. Typically when a mechanic changes a motor the ps stays with the car, it'* just easier than disconnecting and reconnecting. That is assuming you aren't doing a massive mod that also changes steering.

There'* no way you could get me to pay ANYONE to swap an engine when I can do it myself. Anyhow, the car is getting a Series II L67. I'm losing my license for 6 months-1 year and I figured it was a good way to save up money for some cool stuff for my car.

Sorry to hear about the license, but you have a great outlook on it. Save up...have more enjoyment from the car once you get it back. I like that....
Also sorry, I didn't mean you would take it to a mechanic, just meant that most people would leave it in the car if it was easier to pull the bracket then have to take it with the motor. Even if it needs to be pulled out, then you would have it for the new motor.
Enjoy the supercharger whine. SC'* are great.
