Whatever you do don't force it. I recently had a similar problem with a non-bonneville and tried to redneck fix it by jamming it in and trying to turn it. Basically what had happened was the "DING...DING..." actuator was stuck, if you force it you break it and then you have to replace the cylinder. They (locksmith) said it happens to cars a lot and it was fixable but since I jammed it its only replaceable. Go to the store and gets some silicone lubricant or anything advertised to lubricate key locks and spray that in while trying to work your key in. Spray a little and try, repeat for a good 10-15min, don't worry it won't hurt anything. If it doens't work....Call a locksmith :\
Stuff got done.
