Low oil pressure
The other day, we were sliding through some car dealerships, not to replace mine, rest assured, for my fiance, and despite the near freezing temps, my coolant rose to 220 degrees and my oil pressure dropped to about 20 psi at idle. It quickly jumped to normal levels ~40, when the gas was applied.
Should I be expecting problems, and why would my temps get so high, do I need a coolant flush? It'* been two years, I think.

I know all about viscosity, I've just never seen my psi get that low, even when my oil pan was oozing like a, well, like an oil pan with a really bad gasket.

Coolant is a little low, but not bad. The thermo is a 160 from Hypertech, about three years old. Maybe it doesn't like me anymore. The temps did go back down once we topped 5 miles an hour, though, so I was thinking it was an airflow issue. Maybe not.

Only reason i ask....When my car was low on coolant....at idle it would rise...but
under throttle it would cool down a bit because the water pump must have been pushing it thru faster....
I would top it off and see where you go from there
