Replaced stud in wheel hub?
I have a bad bolt on a wheel bearing hub. Prolly an air chisel on a wheel lock with no key. I'm not in the mood to spit up $150 for an entire hub.
Anybody ever replace one of those bolts? I can't remember how they are are seated in the hub.

Although that sounds like the end of the hub. Why does it seem that anything associated with wheel hubs involves a hammer and banging like hell?

I drive mine out with an Old lug nut and a hammer... I install with that old lug nut and the impact....LMAO
I use an old lug because you'll destroy it, but chances are it can be used for the same purpose later
