Default Broken Mount(Now fixed) + No AC Bolt?

Is this a broken front engine mount? I know one is broken, but I dont know what a broken mount should look like.

Second Problem-I started noticing a rattling noise when I would come to a stop light with or without the A/C on. I did some investigating, and I found that there is no bolt in this hole on the A/C compressor. When there is load on the engine the noise stops, but when idling at a light it makes a bad rattle. Can anybody get a pic of the bolt i need to replace it with or give me the specs on the size/thread pattern.

I'm not sure about the AC, but your mount appears okay. Any chance you can squeeze a sideways shot in here? As long as there is no play, it'* solid, and there'* no breaks in the rubber or weld, it should be alright (Again, this is only from the pics you've posted so far...)

I've had to replace that mount before when I first got the Devil, it wiggled all over when I got it off ... not hard to replace if needed.

I think that your rattle is likely the harmonic balancer.

x2... I have known many of our cars to have this issue, and a lot of people tend to mistake it for a bad engine (cause it happens oh so often in the 3800...[sarcasm] )

If it is the HB, I will fix that second. I need to get a bolt for that A/C first, as that is the cheapest and easist way to figure out what my rattle really is. Again, anybody know the specs of that bolt?

By the looks of it, if there ever was one there, it'* been gone a long time. Not having your year, I can't check - but are you sure that one even goes there? It'* hard to tell from the picture, but is there something behind that where it would thread in?

93 SE...My dad used a mirror to look in there and he thinks it should. Its been rattling for a while. The twist when the A/C kicks on is quite a movement. If the HB is bad I should be able to wiggle it back and forth with the belt off correct?

On the AC, there are 3-4 bolts that hold it in place. Hit up TJ for the bolt spec...he'* got a couple laying around to measure. The bolts come in from the backside (on your year) and from your picture...we can't tell if it'* missing.

As for the motor mount. Is that a tear/crack near the top metal bracket? If you have any question about a motor mount.. merely observe it while you have someone else hold the brake and give it a small rev in D. (stand to the side) You will see the mount.

Bandit would be a good person to explain this, he wasn't sure how to check a mount at first and learned on his new SSEi. When sitting there..it looks fine, when torque is applied..his eyes did this

You can see the engine move big time with the hood open from inside the car when you rev. I also had the tranny looked at and when the guy drove it, he said there was a bad mount (but didnt say where)

Most likely it was the front trans mount that you took the picture of.. but double check it.
