Default Harmonic balancer

What are the symptoms of a bad harmonic balancer, After spending a small fortune to get my car fixed I think this part is bad now, It has ran very well till this afternoon, it started missing a little and a strange vibration when excelerating. Like a belt or something may be loose. When I had my car fixxed earlier this month they said mine might be going bad. but
it was a little expensive to fix .

Model? Trim level? Year? Those would be very helpful...I'm gonna move this to 92-99 Mech and Maint until we know for sure what the problem is

Default sorry here is my model, year and trim

My car is a 1991 bonneville le, I put some gas guard in it and it is running fine for now, so I might of got some bad gas , but I am still unsure of the harmonic balancer, Just my luck for it to go bad too.

Ours went bad on our car back when we first bought it. It makes a loud rattling noise which changes at different RPM'*, usually worse at idle. It'* also VERY expensive (we had to pay $500 to get the part from Arizona, shipped to Ontario...

But thats the deal with most repairs on her. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
