My friend has a 95 se series II and i have a 97 with of coarse the same motor y do our cars sond dirreent? And today I was in another friend car that has an se 97 and his sound simulair to mine but a little different. Is it because i have dual exhaust? i do have an sse.

Not sure. I think the 95 was the first year of the exhaust resonator. Keep in mind, if both cars are SC, the 95 is a seriesI, and yours is a series II. Also, the SE is single exhaust, like you suspected. I know my SC 93 sounds a bit different than JSeaberts NA 93, but both have dual exhaust......and a big diffence in wear and tear on the drivetrain.

The dual exhaust would be a definitive factor. Plus you can't expect the car to sound just like your'*. It'* like identical twins, there'* always SOMETHING different about the way they look no matter how small it is.
Mileage is a factor. How they drive is a factor. A worn bearing can make all the sound difference in the world, and there'* tonnes of them under the hood. If you want your car to sound like his, take his motor and go back to single exhaust

True no 2 vehicles are alike in that catagory but in many ways they can hace the same sound my car is an sse my other club member has an SLE ours sound alike and are 97'*. Now the 97 SE sounds similiar to ours but is different but the 95 Se is just in a league of its own.

NATURALLY...the 95 SE is always in a class all of it'* own. They are exceptional. Then again...maybe I am bias.

Do u have a fully loaded se without the */C?

My SE has pretty much everything it can except the leather and SC. I didn't want a SC anyway.

Side Note:
The SE is Single in & Dual out but both tail pipes are on the passenger side, while the SSE/SSEI is single in & dual out with the tail pipes going to both sides of the rear of the car!
