i hit a curb going maybe 10-15 mph when i swerved to avoid someone spinning out in front of me (yeah, it was snowing) and the steering got messed up. it would jerk to one side or the other over bumps, and just felt off. I also chipped the rim but that has been fixed. i drove it a bit, and it started scrubbing off the right tire pretty fast :?

anyways, i see that the right tire is closer to the rear of the wheel well than the left tire is. a shop that my dad took it to said that the inner tie rod and the ball joint were bad, but they seemed to be in a hurry to leave and didn't want to deal with it. i'm pretty sure the control arm is bent (the two different sides seems to have a different bend.. they should be the same right?) and the ball joint might also be bad. this would just come off with a control arm at a junkyard right? and what are my chances of getting a good one at a JY? i will take mine off tommorow to get an idea, but will this be hard to do at a JY if i have to do it myself?

Keep an eye on it.

Depending on how hard the impact was, you might have also messed up the rack and pinion. A hard impact can shave internal o-rings and cause loss of assist in one direction or another.

I would just replace the front end components. Its easy and fairly cheap, then you can take off the other components and swap new in if you need to.
