Removing spark plug boots.

Removing spark plug boots.
What is the trick to removing the rear spark plug wires on a 99 Bonnie. The rear ones have a plastic like jacket on the boot. I gave them a twist and a stout pull with no success. I do not want to damage them as I am planning to re-use them after changing spark plugs. :?: Has anyone been up against this ??

Yeah, what'* with this Plastic stuff. Anyway, like Big Boss sez "Pull Real Hard" but NOT the wire. Grab the cover, twist it, and pull it. Then, after you replace the plugs(don't forget to check the gap) apply some silcone(di-electric) grease inside the spark plug boot and snap 'em back on.

You could try working a small screw driver under the edge and while pulling hard on the boot, give the screw driver a twist to help lift one edge. Hard to get both hand in there and a trouble light
