Basically it'* like this, you'll need first off about 4-8L of P/* Fluid & a very large container to hold the waste fluid. Jack up the car to allow access under it. Remove the P/* Pump RETURN hose from the back of the P/* Pump (rubber hose & hose clamped on). Allow this hose to reach your waste container. Remove the P/* Pump cap. Now this next part is a 2 person job. Have someone else in the car with the engine running & turning the steering wheel all the way to both sides (lock-to-lock) slowly, while you add the new P/* Fluid to the pump. Doing it this way will not allow any air to enter the P/* System. After the first 4L'* have been added, check to see if the waste fluid is running clearer now than before (looks like the new fluid is coming out). If so, re-attach the Return hose & top up as need be. if still dirty looking, continue with the next 4L & then check again.
**NOTE: make sure while the car is jacked up (& on jack stands) that the front wheels have access to move (turn).**

What an "a" hole. Rat was just trying to help. If he seems sarcastic... hes not.
The engine must be running to allow the Power Assist though! Deathrat'* comment.
this is why I responed the way i did. (My comment) I thought he was being sarcastic about me not having my car running if my steering wheel won't turn. I don't have time for games when car isn't running right!

I think I am going to change out my PS fluid. But the pump and hoses look impossible to get to. Has anyone done this on a 92-95 */C engine? I can't see the hoses from the top. The reservoir is remote to the pump; it'* on the drivers side.
