Default Blower Motor

First the blower motor would not shut off when turning off the car, now it will not turn on. I have not replaced the blower control module as I should have, but now I wnat to make sure that replacing the module will fix my problem. Also, is the blower broke too?

With a known electrical module malfunctioning, it is not possible for us to diagnose the module vs motor on additionalissues cropping up.

not to hijack the thread, but i just went a similar deal with my GF'* 1997. it would work some of the time and not the other. i was able to figure that the problem was the blower itself. with the switch on, i could tap on the motor housing under the hood and it would start. swapped the motor out and no problems so far. only problem now, is the air is not as cold now. go figure. i know nothing i did has to do with the lack of cold air at this point, but i guess winter is on the way.
