Garb..did you find the pump hidden near the firewall yet?

(Thinks to self..why didn't I check my fluid level when everything was apart and it was easy to get to?)

I was about to ask if anyone had. Makes sense..flushing the brake fluid helped stopping and the feel of the pedal. Why wouldin't fresh PS fluid help out?

Til then..turn the radio up when turning..

When I had a rubbing noise through a turn at speed, it turned out to be a bad wheel spindle bearing. Other people here have had those go too. Mine was covered by a dealer extended warranty, cost me $100 deductible, but otherwise it was an over $400 repair. Some people here got used spindles from a salvage yard. Just wanted to mention this as a possible culprit, since nobody has mentioned it yet.

I changed out all the old fluid in my resivor not to long ago, the crap that came out of there was ugly, looked like clutch material in a auto trans or something...only problem is the resivior is just that, doesnt actually circulate to fast. .
I belive Fuddyduddy121 flushed the PS system on his 93 SSEi a few years ago..that post might still be around.
I'll check for it
