Default wierd trunk leak

ok so I have this trunk leak that has really made me angry.
Picture
http://www.oznium.com/gallery/photos...iac-bonneville

The water seems to be comming in between the sheet metal. You can see a white speck which is glare off the water. (right above the right speaker wire)

What has made me mad is that it happens to be directly over my amp, so it leaked into my amp which I think is why my subs seems have have blown up(Cone doesn't move freely). I hope the amp is fine.

anyone know how to properly fix this? instead of just filling the crack with epoxy and putting a band-aid on the problem?

I can rule power antenna out because it is much deeper into the fender than where the water is, it is also lower.

Where would the water from the rear window seal come in if it were to leak?

From what little I can tell from the pics, I would first and foremost make sure the weatherstripping is good all the way around. No shrunken or torn spots, nothing stuck under it, no wierd looking bumps, simple stuff like that

the weather stripping looks brand new.

any picture angles that would make this easier to understand? Because I will take more pics if that helps.

Or freak out if you're claustraphobic. Or suffocate....

Seriously, tho, this plan has merit. Make sure you got a small mirror to help look in the nooks and crannys
