Default Electrical Cluster gauge relay? true or false.

Okay what the heck is a electrical cluster gauge relay and does our 1993 SSEI bonne'* have them. (Advance auto guy was trying to tell me that my cluster gauge relay may be going bad due to my flickering of my gauges, he showed me a picture of one and a part number OE14100455 - not sure if I have one of these on my bonne but if so where would it be?

Personally..I would have asked to see the illustration of the part. I've never heard of such a thing and my first thought would be to tell him to go change his Honda'* muffler bearings. We digress though.

Honeslty never heard of it.

Try searching for it on Google and see if it yields any results.

Possibly behind the glovebox? I'll look at my FSM when I get home. I'm dealing with a similar issue, I think. Do you have another thread on this problem?

I checked a wiring diagram & don't see a relay. Check the driver'* side ground bus & tell us which lights are flickering.

what flickers is the compass, DIC and oil pressure, temp and boost gauges go back and forth and yes I do have another thread on this under " gauges going haywire" My Tach and speedometer work fine. Also on my HUD it shows up check gauges on and off. Sometimes it will just stop working all together then come on. Then it will work fine for about 2 - 3 miles and then go haywire again. Maybe can someone put this thread under electrical. - thanks sorry this shouldnt have been on here under 1992-1995

If you have power...even intermittent, I doubt it would be a relay. That relay supplying power to the cluster will most likely affect 3-5 other things in the car.

I'm leaning toward a bad part in the cluster.

Quick Reply: Electrical Cluster gauge relay? true or false.
