How much gas is left when the warning sign is on?
I could only fuel for 12.83 gallons 10 miles after the warning sign is on. Is it normal for bonne or my gauge is dying? Thanks.

Wow, that is pretty inaccurate in my opinion... :?
When I start running close to fumes (meaning I make a controlled right turn and the car starts acting like its going to die) I usually am able to fill up at least 15.7-16.5 gallons [estimate]. The warning light usually comes on approximately 20 miles before this happens.
Even after I put a new overlay in and had to mess with the gauges a bit (the needle works a little better now, ironically) the light/ding still occurs with about the same amount of gas left in the tank, despite where the needle is on the instrument cluster (which is usually just at the edge of the red area).

I've always thought there was 2-3 gallons left when the light comes one. Only driven once with it on and I only drove ~20miles before I got to a gas station.

I agree, there'* probably at least a couple gallons, when I start getting shuddering on turns is cause the gas gets sloshed around pretty good.

This is dependent on each individual car and the inaccuracy of the gauge. I've had a 95 where dinging meant there was still 5 gallons left and I have a 97 where dinging means fumes.
