REPLACED STRUTS
Hey,
Just needed to vent a little -- Replaced all 4 struts today plus strut mounts on my 96 SE for a grand total of $1200. I was more than a little pissed.
Are they just screwing us when they tell us the mounts are worn? How do you tell?
At least I'm not bottoming out anymore.......

I replaced the rear mounts when I changed out my rear struts. They didn't look too worn, but they were only about $20 each at the local auto parts store. There is no extra labor involved since you have to pull them out anyway in order to change the struts.
Front mounts might be more tricky, I haven't done those.
