Yep... the late Demi-God works for Pontiac and has confirmed that AC-DELCO'* Platinum plugs are indeed NGK Irridium plugs.. different badging...

Get this . Got them DIRECTLY from A C Delco for 19.00 for all 6 ! And yes they are the Iridium plugs and the have NGK stamped on 'em

call me daft, but what'* the differance?
I assume it has to do with the metals in the plug, right? Different metals carry a differenet peak electrical transfer, some less resilitant than others. If I'm not mistaken, the less the resistance, the higher the electrical current to generate a larger spark.
So, is the iridium the better of the two?

Iridiums ARE platinum. Iridium is just a trade name.
Do NOT run Bosch platinums in a Bonneville, unless you want to replace them every 5k miles. Any NGK plug including the V-power, or AC Delco plugs are great.
