Disconnect the electrical connector to the pump portion of the PMV. Without my schematics handy, I can't tell you if this will affect your ABS or not. Try it, and see what lights you get. The PMV is located just beneath your airbox, and the pump is the cylindrical part of the PMV. The pump is ONLY used for Traction, not ABS. The rest of the PMV is used for both.

The ECM has nothing to do with Traction or ABS in a 93. They are controlled by the EBCM, and it doesn't communicate with the PCM. It'* a standalone system. I actually learned in another post that he doesn't have the Traction button option. Makes me wonder if the car even has traction control? Have you checked?

Disconnecting it, even if it disables the ABS also, will have no effect on regular braking. Traction control is one thing, but ABS is a system I wouldn't deliberately disable.
